Now in the process of accumulating as many books as I can after beginning with the Grass series, I am a devotee. These are gems. Thank you Ms. Tepper! You certainly deserve lifetime recognition.

You were then and still are one of the most skillful writers of all time. Back then it was hard to find you. Barnes & Noble hadn’t opened in our town yet but in the Stamford Town Center there was a Doubleday store which I where I found you. You have given me endless enjoyment!! Reading your novels is like enjoying the best book while trying solve the next interesting corner turn. The mind is already delightfully occupied with the story and excited for the next page turn of what’s coming.

I have been reading since 1944 and have read and continue to read the classic authors like Asimov (who I actually had the honor of meeting), Clark, Zenna Henderson and her people, and the genius of the shortest of short stories and his Geezenstacks, Frederic Brown. Among this varied and fabulous company you are unique!! By the way, if you haven’t read Frederic Brown you should do so, he will keep you amazed and chuckling at what can be accomplished in very few words. So, with this variety of author styles and stories, you STILL stand out as unique!! Keep writing because I’m going to keep reading.

Regards,
Brandi

Orde Mystery novels and I love them almost as much as her usual works. When I found one it didn’t take too long to ferret out what I hoped were all the rest of the Jason Lynx series. It was a delight to find this site and what I thought would be the definitive list of work only to find that the novel I just finished – “Looking for the Aardvark” – 1993 – is not listed as an A.J. Orde work! How could that be?

I really enjoyed reading “Sheri’s True Biography”. Let me add my name to huge list of your admirers, treasurers, and collectors. Your work always makes me stop and think, your characters make me want to know them personally, your language and turn of phrase make me exclaim aloud. I am truly grateful for the hours and hours of pleasure you have given me.

Wishing you long life, good health and prosperity.

I have a collection of all your books including those under your pseudonyms! So I would like to know….

Hoping to hear back,
Thank you
Silvana
